The most common faults — and what is behind them.
Display black or unresponsive
The most common case on the TM5 and TM6: the device starts, but the touchscreen stays dark or no longer responds to input.
No longer heats
The bowl stirs but does not get warm. Usually the heating element, the temperature sensor or the control circuit on the board.
Motor not running or running rough
No drive, loud grinding or dropouts under load — drive, control electronics and bearings are all checked.
Scales weigh incorrectly
The built-in scales show deviations or jump around. We check the load cells and the calibration.
Mixing bowl leaking
If liquid escapes at the blade, the blade bearing and seal are due — before water reaches the electronics.
Electronics & water damage
Board, power supply, sockets: instead of swapping the whole assembly we repair at component level in our own microsoldering lab.

We source genuine spare parts through the official distributor — heating element, display, mixing bowl, blade bearing and seals are replaced as a matter of course. Often, though, swapping a whole assembly is not necessary at all: where a single component has failed, we repair it precisely — a solder joint on the board, a component in the heating circuit. That is usually cheaper for you and easier on resources. The diagnosis tells you which route makes more sense for your device before any costs arise.

A Thermomix is a kitchen appliance with heating, a motor, scales and electronics in one housing. So we check everything — not just the reported symptom.
- Visual inspection and full function test — motor, heating, scales, controls
- Blade bearing and seal checked, replaced if needed

Are you an authorised Vorwerk partner?
No. We are an independent repair workshop in Frankfurt. For devices still under Vorwerk warranty you should contact Vorwerk first — a repair by a third party can affect warranty claims. If the warranty has expired or Vorwerk declines a repair, we are here for you.
Can you get spare parts for the Thermomix?
Yes. We source genuine parts through the official distributor — from the blade bearing and seals to the heating element and display. In addition we repair electronics at component level where replacing a whole assembly would be disproportionate. After the diagnosis we tell you which route makes more sense for your device.
What does the repair cost?
That is decided by the diagnosis. You receive a concrete quote from us, and we only repair after your approval. Compared with a new appliance, a repair is as a rule considerably cheaper.
How long does it take?
After the diagnosis, usually a few working days. Complex electronics work at component level can take longer — we give you the time frame with the quote.
I do not live in Frankfurt — can I ship it?
Yes. Insured shipping is possible across the EU. Please pack it securely, include the mixing bowl and accessories, and describe the fault briefly.
Is there a warranty on the repair?
Yes, up to one year on the repair we carry out. Wear parts are covered for a shorter period.
